Megan: Why do Sikhs not have to wear crash helmets? I don't see why it's only them that get let off.

John: They'd have to cut their hair to get a helmet on, and it's against their religion. What's it to you anyway? Does it make any difference?

Megan: Some people would get angry about that.

John: Why? My Dad says that no-one made a fuss about it in the war when they were fighting for England.

John: Well, he says in the war there were Sikh soldiers here. Nobody told them they had to cut their hair to be able to wear regulation army helmets. Nobody said go back to your own country then.
